Chemical peeling

Chemical peeling is a type of treatment that involves applying a chemical solution to the skin to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new skin. Chemical peels can improve the skin’s texture, tone and glow, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as treat acne and sun damage.

There are different types of chemical peels, which vary in strength and depth of treatment. Superficial peels use milder chemicals to remove only the top layer of the skin, while deeper peels can penetrate the deeper layers of the skin to treat more serious skin problems.

Chemical peels can be performed by a qualified cosmetic doctor or skin care professional in a clinic or salon. Before the treatment starts, the skin will be thoroughly cleaned and any wounds or irritations will have to be treated first. Chemicals will then be applied to the skin and left on for a set amount of time, before being rinsed off and a soothing lotion applied.

It is important to follow the instructions and advice from the qualified practitioner before and after the treatment, to avoid side effects and skin irritations. There may be some side effects such as redness, irritation, dryness, flaking and increased photosensitivity after the treatment, but these will usually subside after a few days.

Perfected chemical peeling is a type of treatment that aims to provide maximum results by using a combination of different chemicals and techniques to adapt the treatment to individual needs. This type of treatment can produce more dramatic results.
